ebay.co.uk have page not displaying

Just went on the UK ebay site and the ads arent displaying from ads.doubleclick.com, just looks very unusual to have such a big site have a message saying "Page cannot be displayed"
Guess it goes to show that even the big sites sometimes have hosting problems ;)
 
Its not the actual page, but its quite a big section on the main page.
Its taken from ads.doubleclick.com and its giving 404, cant be found for me
 
By any chance are you running adblocking software?

We run Censornet, and can specify ads (especially those from doubleclick) to not be displayed and show a 404 instead.

Or have you added a hosts.txt file with ads.doubleclick.com in it?
 
Nope, well it seems to be working now so not sure what the problem was.
Maybe it was only showing like that for users from certain countries as that can be set with advertising companies.
They might have set ads to show from different places to users from different countries, cant think of anything else it could have been, never seen that on ebay before
