Domain Hijacking

A little over a year ago I was given a PDF file that showed step by step how to hijack a domain. I honestly never gave it a try, but it was interesting to read.

Just today, one of our clients received an email from 1and1, attempting to get him to renew his domain through them. The problem....the domain is registered using our domain services.

I found the topic ironic, after receiving the forwarded email from our support team.

Ecommercetalk.com has the same IP address as iuni.com, the website that is replacing ecommercetalk.com now. Have you contacted Micfo?

I had a smiliar problem once before. But the domain I had a problem with was an addon domain for another domain. The addon and the main domain were suppose to go to the same site, but the addon domain kept going to a different site entirely, in a different datacenter, from a different host. Once I removed the domain from the addon list and then recreated it the problem went away. It was kinda goofy.
