Do you use cron jobs?

Do you use cron jobs on any of your accounts?
What do you use it for?
How long have you been using them?Do you think they are handy?

I use conjobs to run a BGM (background monitor) its cycles every 15 minutes to make sure users arent using more than their allowed processes.

I don't use cron tabs, but they would probably be very useful..

Actually, interesting thing about cron jobs, I was asking the hosting company I teamed with if we have cron jobs to watch the IRCd's and make sure they stay up, they said well you CAN but you won't need it, as our systems have not gone down yet.

I was quite impressed, glad I made the merge.
