Do you buy much from the net?

Do you buy many things from the internet?
What was the last and most expensive thing you bought from the net?
Did you get any insurance for it if it was from a site like eBay?For example escrow or something similar?

Do you not like to spend a lot on the net because of security risks or does it not bother you?
 
I usually only buy things like webhosting, irc shells and "live" things liek this from the internet, not security reasons, but usually I can find the same thing in stores around here for about the same price or even a little more, but I'd rather only have to bring it a 5 minute drive rather than a month in the mail.
 
I buy most my books from amazon.co.uk now. Most of the stuff I read I can't find in Norway (I read a lot of stuff on the SAS which no one knows what is around here).

Go into a book shop in Norway and ask for a book on the SAS they will give you some stupid book about Scandinavian Air Service. Then when I tell them I want something on Special Air Service they look at me and say that the book is about planes. :blink: They don't seem to understand that it's a military unit :ph34r:
 
I usually only shop on the internet... if my grocery store and fast food places offered online purchases, i probably would never go out to the store at all...

i guess the last expensive thing I bought was a 450 dollar pda from amazon, which from a retail store such as bestbuy was 600 bucks..

I did all my xmas shopping online last year, a little over $1000...

I bought a 2 dollar mouse pad (free shipping was here in 2 days) and I even buy condoms online... very cheap! :P
