Do clients use your forums?

Yes I admit that it is more tempting to buy hosting from a host who have a lot of active users and an active admin. That would give me the impression that anything I post on a forum would get a quick response.

Most have a forum hidden to non customers or have the boards hiden to non customers so they cant make assumptions on the host on the forum. Most hosts dont even have a forum anyway

My customers don't post THAT much on my forums.
Do get posts but not that much.
Around 2100 posts on it and 365 registered members.
I have most forums hidden though, plus I have forums for customers only.

I check my forum a few times every day for any questions, sometimes people use the forum for support questions.

Scribehost's forums are split: the general questions / feedback, announcements, and news forums are viewable by all, with guests able to post in the questions / feedback forum; and the actual meat of the support forums visible only to registered members. Forum membership is restricted to hosting clients. This keeps others from, essentially, raiding our support library, but gives potential clients a place to come in contact with our current clients, ask questions in an open forum, what have you.

Amusingly enough, though, we do have some problems getting clients to actually *use* the forums.
