Did it take you long?

I am curious, how long did it take you to build a company targetting local market to the point when it takes care of your living? Certainly, it depends on the size of a local market (city population, business community, competition level, etc), so if you could mention that estimate as well, that would be good to know!

Best,

Depends on what you are looking for Art.
If you are talking about hosting only then I am not at the point where it is self supporting yet. Of course I have not made a great effort to become self supporting on my hosting business yet.

The first restaurant I bought when I was in the Cayman Islands supported myself and my partner quite adequatly(sp?) in a very short time. It was a turn key operation.

Coincidently I am looking at another turn key type offer for a restaurant here in PEI tomorrow. It's 100 seats ready to go in the down town area.

Which town, Michael? Oh you gotta have lobsters served...
Next time I visit PEI, I will most definitely drop by.

Charlottetown Art.
I looked through the place today. It doesn't look too bad.
I'm going to talk with my partner over the next week about some ideas for it and we'll be talking to the owner regarding lease hold improvements.

We are in a good position in that there are not a lot of people in the market for this space and we have no intention of taking it over unless we get what we want.

I see potential.
