Desperate for some help in C++ and VisualBasic

I really am struggling to find help in c++ and VisualBasic. I am trying to design a text-based game but unfortunantly those two programming areas are over my head. Can someone please help me? I'm desperate. I can't afford to pay but I will give hosting if you want it.

Have you tried VB6 learning software?

VB6 I believe is one of the last intuitive pieces of software they made available.

It may however be hard to find now. If you have any problems finding it, let me know, and I'll see if I can help in some way.
