dedicated server

Not sure I understand the question.

If someone didn't like how their hosting company provided the dedicated server, wouldn't they move to another hosting company?

Of course I like the way they provide them and the service, otherwise I wouldn't use them, right?

My provider is great, prices and service. If my provider ever tries something on me or can't suite my needs then I'll go searching for another company. If your with someone and not getting what you want for what you pay for then switch host and forget about them.

I like the way they treat me, if something happens wrong obviously after showing some patience initially I will move away. But no chance as things have been great so far. :)

Yes we like our hosting provider's dedicated servers, they are all Xeon and have KVM and 1 Gbit network port.

I beleive if someone is using dedicated servers than he has some knowledge and experience with hosting issues and will choose right host which will satisfy his demands

For the most, I liked them. I've been with some just god awful and difficult to deal with. For the most part, even if you query presale... they are all nice to you and all. Until you signed up... like Forrest Gump would say, like a box of chocolate, never know what you gonna get.

If you have ever used a dedicated server, do you like the way your host provide dedicated server hosting?

I have used many dedicated servers purchased with liquidweb and I am happy with their services since they do offer quality managed hosting services with every dedicated server.

I have used ovh for dedicated servers they provide quality servers and have served us well during the time we have been with them. clearly if someone doesnt like a server or host provider then they can simply move to another provider which maybe more reliable but its a risk we all gotta take when purchasing servers from new providers . its like a trial and error process.

I'm curious, Daniel, why the question? If you don't like the service your provider offers, you always have the option to move on. I'm imagining there are thousand of providers out there that offer dedicated servers.

To take this one step further, my opinion of a provider may conflict entirely with someone else's, given the same level of support (it's all about perception).

Hello daniel, definitely i like the way my host providing a service. other wise i wouldn't use them. one thing i liked very much about my host is a 24*7 quality customer support service.

A dedicated server is a computer that is set aside in order to serve the needs of the network. When looking for the best dedicated server available, one should consider what needs have to be met like support, connections, and latency.

Hello, are you having problems with your dedicated server hosting provider at the moment? If you are, you should let them know. Also, which aspects in the hosting are you having issues with? You need to check the SLA or the contract first and see if they are not serving you as committed. Hosting services also vary on the level of support that they provide, the first thing you should do is find out what kind of service they should be providing. Dedicated hosting is not exactly the "cheap" hosting and you should know very well what support you are entitled to.

On the other hand, you wouldn't want to assume either that you should be receiving a certain level of support when in the first place, it was clear that it will not be provided.

Check out your contract first, then complain if there are discrepancies. :)
