Dedicated Reseller

We are looking to expand our services to Dedicated servers, but I am at a stand still as to which company reseller plan I should use.

I have sent 2 tickets to the Gnax datacenter through NetDepot about their partner program, but for some reason they keep deleting the tickets with no response at all. Nice service huh?

I have also looked at a few others like Layerdtech and Softlayer, but I am still undecided.

I need a strong network to work off of along with a nice discount program, and of course good customer service. I am looking for a U.S network.

If anyone has any insight of some great programs or recommendations I would love to hear them.

Contact the Sales Dept. at Layerdtech, I think they have some specials on this month. So I'm sure they can help you out with a good Dedicated Reseller plan. I haven't used them myself, but from what I hear they seem pretty reliable.

Yu may also want to try The Planet

I have not heard the greatest things about The Planet in the last few months. So I am hesitant to do any business with them. I used to use them years ago and they were ok at that time, but I guess they have had major problems lately.

I thank everyone for their replies. :)

The Planet have a great network, but their support sucks. If you request simple things to be done it's ok, but should something urgent come up like a hard drive failure then it can take 2 - 4 days for them to fix the problem. I have had 2 hard drive failures on their servers (which happens anywhere), but they took forever to trouble shoot and both times we had to call up and get very mad at them to involve someone more senior.

If it's critical I would avoid TP.

On the other side of the coin there is PowerVPS as an option who I am with now. Support is always good (have been a client my self for about 6 months) but have used their services as part of another business since 2003. The price is higher then TP, but service and management at PVPS is a lot better.

You should probably work with several data centers as it give you more flexibility and products to offer as well as redundancy.

At this point I have decided to go with Layerdtech.com to start off. As things grow I will probably add servers from another location.

One step at a time. :)
