I've posted this rather lengthy request on other forums in the past and have gotten a significant amount of replies. However, most of the prospects either fell through or fell off the face of the Earth. I've you've read through my spill once before and weren't interested, I apologize.
I'm looking for a dedicated partner for the hosting company I've currently got in development. You must have *some* previous experience with the web hosting industry, but this does not have to include server management as this will be something I am willing and able to focus on. However, anyone with experience managing a server running linux will definately be near the top of the list.
Your attitude towards the industry is of the most concern to me as I'm looking for someone who shares my drive. This company will approach the industry in an unique fashion, opting to provide a more personal experience for the clients and straying from the many tactics used today to gain profit. Somewhat cynical, perhaps, this company is going to be developed from the ground up with the client in mind, and will be driven from the perspective of former hosting clients. We've all been one at one time.
I ran what I considered to be a successful company for about a year under the same principles. Because of time constraints and an inability to provide the same level of support to my clients, I was forced to sell. I've decided that in order to accomplish what I had in the past and further my success, I can't go at it alone.
The ideal candidate will be available primarily during the day - I realize this is a large request, but with college and work, it's hard for me to find free time outside of the evenings. If this isn't possible, we can discuss possible solutions for daytime support and sales representatives.
I'm currently running a reseller plan, but will make the move to dedicated in the next 2-3 months depending on the speed of the company's growth. If you're unable to contribute financially at this point, I understand. However, a 50/50 split of profit will most definately have server costs factored out of it.
If my offer interests you, please contact me via e-mail at mrbonzo@gmail.com or AIM with the SN "YCHSupport."
I look forward to hearing from you.
