Decent Hosting Providers in India ?

We have a large Computer Support Site/Forums, user database from India.
We would prefer (first choice) for a provider if they are offerring hosting in Inida..

But since Hosting in India costs 5 - 8 times more then other counties, i will see if we find some decent hosts.

Our requirements are as follows:
1. WebSpace - 4 GB
2. Bandwith Per month - 50 GB
3. Complete Managed Solution, we do not want to take the hassle of Upgrading OS, security patches etc.
4. Daily BackUps
5. Above requirements are current consumption, it can increase with time as our site/forums are growing rapidly.
6. Our Max budget is 50 $ per month. (in return we can advertise for you throughtout our footer links)

If you can recommend some good hosts.. kindly help us out.
 
There are quite a lot of Indian Hosts (not the ones like sify or rediff that charge alot), but more personal-hosts. You need to search on google or some other sites for a list of the same. Maybe you can find a few here :). Do search..I'm sure you'll find someone along the way.

Are you sure that you meant US dollars not your local currency?
I think that there are many indian located companies. Seems thaey are good. But I'm not sure about network and DC in India. I also suggest you having a look at US located companies

Not sure about 1&1 bat they seems good too.

If you are after a host with hardware in India you may run into a few problems. Most of the hosts will be reselling services from US hosts, the main issues with India at the moment is the lack of infrastructure and unreliable power.
