Datacenters are the sites where computer systems and associated h/wares are kept. Servers mounted in 19 inch rack cabinets.It also include back up supplies,air conditioning etc.

Think of a datacenter as an apartment building. Many people make each section their home, whether it be permanent or temporary. They (D.C/apartment complex) provides the heating, cooling, electric which you pay for!
