How often does anyone here have to cut a reseller off when they are not paying? I am wondering if it makes it any different compared to a non-reseller. Is a non-paying client reseller or not liable to the same terminations?
We've been faced with some resellers that close up shop but their clients know they're hosting on our servers.
That is the thing I am getting at, their clients. I know some resellers who have clients that know us personally and understand that their host is a reseller. We always attempt to reach out to any client who has an overdue bill and even a day late, its on my mental list to get a hold of the person. To a point this is why I kind of dislike resellers, I hate being the bad guy when it comes to cutting them, which cuts their clients too. I must be too nice for my own good. :shh:
While cutting off a reseller is troublesome, just remember your datacenter would do the same to you. If you fail to pay your bill with them, they give you a grace period, then shut you (and your clients) off. A reseller is in no different of a situation.
