curious about Webspace and Bandwidth

I'm a bit curious to know, what are the advisable sizes of webspace and bandwith for a blog/personal site?

I will make a some assumptions.
1. You will be uploading images
2. Your site will be for personal and family viewing for the most part.

The majority of sites, personal sites in particular, require very few resources.
If you have an account that provided 100-200mb disk space and 1-5gb transfer (bandwidth) you would be fine.

Depending on how many images and views you might be able to go with 500 mb of bandwdith. Normally, a personal site can be on a small $0.99/month hosting package and be fine. Do not expect large amounts of support; but, it is possible.

That really does depend on how many people visit your site, I rmember
getting my first paid package and I bought LOADS of webspace and
bandwidth to be safe, but atleast it never went down due to it! Its up to how much you are willing to pay too.

For personal web site 100MB web space and 1000MB bandwidth is enough to make a decent start and it will not cost much.

I think it all depends on the popularity of your blog or site and how many people visit your site.
