Thank you all for kind comments. As Blue noted (well, he knows), Cubans are very friendly. During our one-week stay, we tried to help out as much as possible. We fed staff members that didn't have access even to tourists, we gave cans of beer to gardeners (even a bottle of Champagne that we won in a dancing competition... lol), we gave away nearly $150 in tips, other life necessities, and my girlfriend gave away one of her nice dresses to a local girl. The people are insanely friendly and very educated, and I cannot just see them living under the regime when only few government families get everything and they don't own anything. And the way they dance and play music is magic... Chucho Valdez alone is worth a world.
