I have a question for hosts: Do you allow your clients to chose which Cpanel skin they use?

And which Cpanel skin do you like the most (not WHM, just cpanel main) - Personally, I've always liked Iconic. Quick to get to anything there
 
I use X2 theme on Cpanel just because i like the way its layed out. I let my clients choose their theme if they want. Its always good to let the user have as much control as they can. I just set X2 as their default theme when they first sign on to my company.
 
Yep I do, and I also use X2 as the default for new accounts, I think its the most professional looking and its also very easy to use for new users to cPanel.

Some users dont like X2 though, or else they are used to another skin so I do have others available just incase this does happen :)
 
Is there any way that a user can select their own theme from inside CPanel, or does the user have to ask the host to change it for them?
 
There is no way a user can change them from cPanel that I know of, I think the only way to do it is to contact the host to change it for them.
Im sure it could be done with a bit of coding and hard work but I dont know of any hosts that offer it.

If anyone else knows a way users can change the theme from cPanel I would be very interested to know :)
 
Well the system by default assigns the X Skin to them; however if they want another skin like blue lagoon then I will change it for them but if I dont have a skin that they want then I dont bother installing it and so on.
 
We alwasy use the X2 skin. Mainly because it's the best layout with the simplest options for the clients.

X2 also have the most options without editing it at all. If you look through some of the other skins, there are many features that seem to dissapear because they are older skins.
