Cheapest place to buy a domain name

Hey,
Where is the current cheapest site to buy a domain name?
The cheapest I know of is ev1servers which is $6.49 I think

Are there any sites that are cheaper now?

But you have to understand that these are just promotions and they are actually loosing money with these. From what i know an icann acredited registar must pay around 6$ per domain, so normally it shouldn't be cheaper than that.

As they are promotions, how much will it cost to re-register the domains?
Will the price go up with these companies or is it set at the price you register now?
It would probably go up if I only register the domain for one year, which I most likely will be doing.

Well probably this offers will be removed soon and then you'll renew the domain with the normal price (around 8-9$).
Forgot to add that myvaluehost only lets you buy 10 domains with the the $4 price ..
