I would never trust a host that offers "UNMETRED/UNLIMITED" bandwidth and space, since such thing doesn't exists, they can't defeat the laws of physics. What happens if someone actually wants to upload lets say his whole collection of family DVD videos which take couple of hundred gigabytes and starts distributing them to the general public? They'll probably cancel his account. That's a marketing scheme in my book and I don't appreciate it at all. I was referring to A2hosting.

Indeed. The best is very realtive. I may consider one company as the best, you may consider another, because we have different requirements for hosting.

How that can be checked by customer which are looing for the web host and do not have any experience with them.
Third party monitoring services are not correct and show info for the main web site. I believe that test period is needed.
