Hi guys,

Just to pre warn you, i have posted this in a few other forums aswell...

Anyway i wanted to get some business cards printed out, the problem is, im stuck between three companys.

#1,http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/
#2, http://www.goodprint.co.uk/
#3, http://www.123print.co.uk/

I have my design all ready to go, and be printed, i was wondering if anybody has ever used any of these before?

maybe some one would be able to help me pic one,
I havr posted around so in a few days i will check the polls,
and who ever has the most votes ( in total ) ill go with.

Thank You :)

ive used Vistaprint for years ( business cards, magents, xmas cards and postcards) without major issues. sometimes their printers will send items in wrong sized boxes (damaging goods), but these are always replaced within days at no cost.

I have used Vistaprint for businesscards and I have been very pleased with the service. I would recomend them to anybody in search of desig, T-shirts, business cards etc.

never get my business cards anywhere else but Vistaprint. One thing to avoid from them are their PVC banners. we recently got an email offering a free PVC banner (small) so as at the time i was looking at creating a laminated sign for an item sale on my stall i thought i would order 1 as it would last longer than a laminated A4 printed sign. but when i arrived the printing was good and it will do its purpose, but the quality of the banner material was very poor (if i paid i would have complained about the quality)

Seems Vistaprint is the next one I need to check out. I am thinking about doing a few hundred for random promos that we do through out the year. Anyone know if they are the best when it comes to a bundle/bulk order?

For promotions i use thier postcards , but i usually just order upto 250 at a time and never have had any issues with the quality of these.

In the past I've used Vistaprint and Goodprint - I thought Vistaprint were shockingly bad, Goodprint I was pleased with.

I thought Vistaprint were shockingly bad,

Yes explain how?

ive used Vistaprint for years and only had 1 issue which i would say was not their direct fault, but that of the printing firm they use as when i ordered some postcards they arrived bent as the printer had squashed them in a box that was too small, when i contacted Vistaprint, they replaced these no questions asked.

Happy to explain, I ordered some of their free cards a couple of years ago, they took a while to come, a few weeks if I recall, and when they turned up they were so poor quality as to be unusable.

The cards were a slightly odd size, maybe same width as normal cards, but not as high and the paper they were printed on was incredibly flimsy. I binned them, as I wouldn't hand such poor quality cards out.

The delay in turning up might have been my fault, I have a vague recollection of booking their slowest delivery.

Now, I accept the 'free' cards might not show off Vistaprint's qualities to their best, but I recall the postage charges were quite high and the overall price wasn't that much cheaper than Goodprint with one of their 50% off offers.

Goodprint weren't perfect, the ink tends to come off on the back of cards left in my jacket pocket for a while, but I don't think that unreasonable. Their full prices aren't particularly cheap but they run regular 40-50% off offers which are good value.

strange, i find the quality as good as others i have tried and i always use their 14 day delivery, but it never takes that long, cant complain at the postage costs as you get the cards free, but i usually order postcards (great advertisings) etc. at the same time.

i would find this unacceptable and would complain and never use them again.

I've never ordered the free version of Vistaprint cards so I can't speak to that, or the Goodprint product so I can't speak to that either.

The Vistaprint cards I have ordered have always been good quality without any ink run issues. Delivery time is always considerably shorter than the estimate at the time of order.

It was a couple of years ago, so maybe they have improved since then.

For the ink coming off the goodprint cards, how can I put this delicately? How about my inside jacket pocket might not be the friendliest environment after a day out in London in the summer - think of an hour on a 100'F tube, with the cards very close to the body. You know what I mean.... !

In that environment, I think it's forgivable, but if it happened in my briefcase or in the box, I'd agree.

heard a few things about vista print in this thread. I dont use vista print (im actually in the market looking and comparing to get my own cards soon also) But i was leaning heavily toward vita print because my friend used them and they were good quality and he got them fast.
