I hate having to deal with the monthly (paid) ads that we do on various sites only to see a competitor pop in and ask if I want to become their reseller. Hello I have been doing this for years now, why would I stop just because you want to thread-jack me. What is wrong with people, seriously I think morals ran away a long time ago and only a few of us have any left. :uhh:

I am truly amazed at how quickly people can jump into a new thread to plug their own stuff. I mean really, I would love to get an idea of how these people run their company. Sometimes I wonder if its out of a shoebox and they are just digging for extra's from everyone else. In one thread I have 15 replies within an hour, 1/2 of them were plugs.

Are you talking about self advertising, signature spam or what? Have you addressed your concerns with the mods of those sites?

When I see stuff like that on my ads I simply report the posts and they get removed. I don't tolerate people trying to plug their services or defame my ad because they want to. I don't stand for such behavior.

Now, for the defame part I mentioned...If its a review of my service then I leave it, good or bad. I like honest reviews and they help me and a potential customer. So I have nothing against that but if someone comes to my ads and says the following "Don't sign up" or "I bet this service sucks" which has happened to me I simply report the posts. Negative stuff like that ruins your ad and gives you a bad impression when people view your ad.
