Breakfast

Do you eat breakfast in the morning?

I don't eat it 'til I get to the office, then I cook a poptart and drink a Cherry Pepsi.

I personally have breakfeast due to it being the most important meal of the day. Usually I'm up for serial, as I'm always on the run, however I do cook somthing fancy every once in a while.

I go to sleep in the morning, but I eat breakfast food a few hours prior to that. Does that count as a breakfast though? :)

Yes, I live a very strange life. :D

Without eating breakfast, I won't be able to function like a normal human being. I need that energy in the morning. Doesn't have to be a huge meal, just something to get me going :)

I don't normally eat breakfast ... although because I am diabetic I should be. But there are other factors that come into play, that I won't get into, that usually conspire to not allow me to get hungry until early to mid-afternoon. I usually end up figuring if I eat then I will ruin my appetite for supper ... so most days I just eat my evening meal. Not good for you ... or healthy ... but its the way I have been for years :) So ... what can you do?

OMGS HI PETER!

Eat later and eat more! :)

I just had some Cinnamon Roll Instant Oatmeal - made by Millville...VERY good!

You should never skip breakfast. Most important meal of the day.

I usually have a bowl of Bran Flakes along with a glass of water with my GreensPlus.

I never eat breakfast. I'm well aware of the benefits and yet I never seem to make the time to do it.
My eating habits are not the best. I'm basically tasting and eating all day. One of the perks or downfalls of the job, depending on how you look at it.

I think you're the exception to the rule, Blue. As you say, you are "nibbling" all day. (You must have a *very* fast metabolism as a result...)

I eat at the office, and always seem to have about half an hour of "downtime" where I can sit at my desk, eat, and catch up on all the work orders goin' on.

For most people, breakfast is very important.

Think about it. While you are sleeping, your body is depleting resources. Using up calories, body fluid, etc. In the morning, your body is expecting to be repleted/refilled. If you have breakfast, all is good. If not, your body goes into *starvation mode*, thinking that it will have to "store" fat, given the infrequency of feeding. Your metabolism slows down, you get fatter, your wife points out your newly formed love handles. :(

Instead, have breakfast. Add to the number of meals you have in a day. Fuel your engine. Get a jump start on the day. But don't do it with Krispy Kreme doughnuts, croissants or bowls of Apple Jacks. Instead, have some fruit, or a bowl of Bran Flakes, or an omelette, or run some fruit through your juicer.

OK, 'nuff preaching.

Fisherman - might want to check your spelling ;)

Must be runnin' pretty fast, as I usually find that eating serial is gross, but cereal will hit the spot! :)

I would, but I can't stand to look at the juice. It's just gross IMO. :)

or an omelette
I could eat that. :)

Anyway, for me, because I get up at 19:00, breakfast is in fact dinner, and it is a very serious meal (in quantity I mean :) ).

I nibble all day as well, because I always have food around me. Did you notice that when you have too much food around you can't find the desire to really sit and eat anymore? Well, at least that's what happens to me. :)

Thank you Vito for all the advice! Quite interesting!
