Hey,
As a lot of people know, I live in Belfast.
There have been a few bomb scares recently but they have all either been a hoax or deactivated so no damage was caused.

Today there was a bomb scare around 8-10am this morning, when everyone in Belfast was going to work.
I was getting the bus into the town and the bus must have got about 100 metres in 30 minutes at one point, and it normally takes 30 minutes to get from my house to the city centre.

It took over an hour today because of a bomb scare on the route the bus goes and it, along with hundreds of cars, had to go another direction to get into the centre.

I hope this doesnt start up again and the bmomb scares are coming left, right and centre.

Last week there was 3 or 4 and Im not sure how many this week.

A bomb hasnt gone off in a good while but there are a number that have been deactivated and its normally only in the local news around Belfast.

Fingers crossed that this doesnt start up again!!

Don't take any chances - I cannot understand why people want to hurt each other, there is never any reason for violent intentions of this degree & form.

I agree. Violence really isnt needed nor wanted.

Hope everything gets better. It sounds quite bad at the moment. Still, better safe than sorry.

Found out what it was on the news.
Someone put 3 bombs inside a loyalist prisoners office, its a place where they fight for the right of LOYALISTS.

Not sure if people know, but loyalist is the type they are out doing the fighting, not the same as for protestants or catholics.
I see it everyday and I knew something was going to happen with that there.

The 3 bombs were on the door of the office, on the inside.

Bombs :( If people want to do some damage, or even kill themselves. Do it in their own homes and leave everyone else to get on with their lives in peace.

Stay safe John, dont want to see you get hurt it any ways...

Yes it would mean people would not have to worry... Only time people would get hurt or die would be if they died naturally or due to a natural disaster...

I think if people want to kill themselves, that is fine by me. Just make sure they dont make anyone else die as well.

Some pick have sick minds - can put it that way.

I dont see any need for it, what does it bring?

Heartake what ever way you look at it. Well except for computer games its not real.

TV Is getting worse and wish they take some of the stuff off - kids are getting worse from it.

I cant say what the world is going to be like in 20 years to come - just worse...

I agree! Some of the kids (a lot, actually) are terrible around here. Spray painting gafiti everywhere, dog collars, have limited vocabularly (Can all they say is swear words) and no mannars. When they grow up, it really does make you wonder what the world will be like. The government isnt much good either.

Well there is a film called Rollerball where it was all taken into a sport and that's how countries / factions or whatever settled their differences in a violent game. Seems silly but the players were willing and got payed and treated well and there was no tolerence outside this. But still a sad tale that it would have to be as an outlet. Human nature really doesn't make sense at the best of times. Even less when it's for anything that is an ideal rather than a survival prospect.

Basically - if you had fallen of a cliff - would you question the beliefs of the person who had caught your hand?

hehe i was just away for a while in a different city and dont have net access there ;)

The bombs were set off my army bomb disposal, they have a robot that goes in and sets it off in a controlled explosion so it was all ok :)
