I was just wondering what your favorite board game is/was?

I've only played a few, but Monopoly has always been my favorite. :twocents:

Hmmmm ... Monopoly definitely. Then Scrabble, Risk & Clue.

Art ... don't quote me on it but I think Risk was developed in France and marketed by Parker Brothers ... Google searches are so handy

My favourite game in recent years has been Trivial Pursuit (developed by Canadians of course )

Anyone ever thought of doing Monopoly over the Internet? I've seen it done before....

One guy setup the board at his house and had a webcam on it. He was the GM and didn't participate - he kept a running tally of how much money everyone had and what properties everyone owned. As everyone rolled (he had created a java applet to randomize the rolls) he updated the piece positions - maybe we could do something like that on this board?

I love Monopoly.

John, I remember you could play Monopoly on gamesite.com, but I couldn't find it there anymore. I played it often back some time ago and it was really well made and presented.

Thing is on the other forum it was so cool the way it was done - everything was personal, moderated, and you could see board status anytime of the day. I dunno, was just neat. Never heard of gamesite.com before.
