Blazernetwork - My Experince - Part 1

I purchased service 4/05 which was to include domain transfer and 1 yr extention. I purchased an addional yr 11/05. They failed to do a proper domain transfer. Customer service is a joke. They just kept closing trouble tickets and blaming everyone else. I attempted everything to resolve the matter and even filed a complaint with ICANN. To date I have not received a refund for services purchased but not rendered. I went to GoDaddy and they had everything right within hours. Go Daddy rocks. Blazernetwork also make it sound like there are several people working at the company but If you get through the pre-recorded prompts you'll find that its always the same guy who answers the phone IF you get a live person no matter what department you try to reach. In reality this now looks to me supiciously like a one person operation who is applying templates as a reseller who doesn't know what he's doing. I STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT USING BLAZERNETWORK.

Read additional reviews at:
http://www.hostsearch.com/review/blazer_network_review.asp
Pay close attention to the last 6 month of reviews, it's not only me. Now you decide if this guy at Blazernetwork knows what he's doing and whether what happened to me is good customer service. I STRONGLY SUGGEST
AVOIDING ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY. They may have been good in the past but within the last six months service has been non-existant. If you do use them the following is documentation to what you might look forward:

I have not received a reponse to the prior ticket sent on 12/19/2005 which now
does not show up here. By way of additional information I found the invoice
number for the additional extention of the domain name. It is invoice #***8.
I was advised that I would receive an email from the manager the next day.
As of this date I have heard nothing. Please respond the the priviously submitted
ticket the text of which is resubmitted here below.:
==========================================
Dear Sirs:

On April 2005 I purchased the standard Linux Hosting package for $107.46
which included free setup and hosting of my domain www.***.com for
one year. I was originally charged additional for services that was supposed
to be included in the package. As a result the addition charge was credited
to my account. However, the domain expiration date was never changed or
extended from the February 17, 2006 expiration date, nor was the
technical contact information updated from DNS Network Operations (WEB1000.com)
to blazernetwork (web4.bona.us). Only the name servers were changed.

In November I received an e-mail from the registrant, Melbourneit.com, that
my domain name was not extended the additional year under the package purchased
through blazernetwork and that it was still due to expire February 17, 2006.
At that time rather than run the risk of having the domain expire without
receiving another notice I purchaced through blazernetwork for $7.95 another
year's extention and transfer using my new credit card. At that time, I also
updated my contact information to include my new address and e-mail
information. This charge has already be deducted and posted to my bank
account through Bank of America on November 12, 2005 with the following
information:
CheckCard **20 blazer Network
***-***-**** GA ***********************
You can reach Bank of America Customer Service at 1-800-432-1000

Today I received another e-mail notifying me that my domain was still due to
expire on February 17, 2006 and that no extentions had been made by
blazernetwork no had any of the contact or technical contact information
been updated. Performing a "whois" query at whois.melbourneit.com reveals
that the registry has not been changed from the old registration information.

I would like to have this resolved far in advance to my domain registration
expirary date to reflect the extention purchased under the original package
and the addition extention purchased from blazernetwork in November of 2005.
The registration information should reflect that the domain is not due to
expire until February 17, 2008, the contact information should be updated to
show my new contact information, and the techical information should be
updated to show proper information for blazernetwork.

Your prompt resolution of this matter would be appreciated.

To: blazernetwork.com, Melbourneit.com.au, and Registerfree.com

I have tried to sign into account maintenence using the link provided in the
following email and using the registry key at get the message "***.COM"
does not exist. I need this corrected and the account unlocked immediately
as i have been attempting to get this resolved for several weeks and have
had no reply.

Also blazernetwork.com has been paid twice to renew the domain and this
is still not resolved.
because apparently without my knowleged or approval the account is locked.
I authorize and demand unlocking of my domain so that the transfer can be
properly completed and renewal and updates can be accomplished as I have
already paid for these services.

Thank you.

even after our telephone conversation of today's date i get no email
from blazenetwork at ***@yahoo.com that shows on the "WHOIS", that
account has spam and bulk mail blockers off show emails should be g
etting through. I have no problem receiving emails in this account from
anyone else. Please manually send the email for transfer confirmation
or transfer manually.

The transfer emails are not sent by us they are sent by ICANN the
organization in charge of domain registrations and transfers all domain
transfers go through them there is no way to manually send this email.

Fri Jan 2006 10:36AM by ***@yahoo.com
How do WE get ICANN to resolve the problem as I have not received a
verification e-mail and the whois search does show the proper administrative
contact as ***@yahoo.com. Do you have a ICANN resolution contact that
can assist in resolution. It's clear that I authorize the domain transfer
to blazenetwork and have paid for such in the initial package and again in
November for the extention so expiration should show February 17, 2008.
Is there a complaint resolution process that you can initiate?

Please See prior comment of today's date and also give me the name, address,
telephone number, technical contact, and web address of the Registrar
responsible for blazer Network that should appear on "Whois" in place of
Melbourne IT (ie. the registar that the domain should be transfered to).
I will submit a formal Data Problem Report Complaint to ICANN at the following
web address when that information is received:

Please continue your efforts through your contacts with ICANN to resolve
this problem and advise me of your efforts and all responses.

Attached is a file that indicates that the process of domain transfer can
be done manually all that is needed is for you to send the request by email
to Melbourne IT as I have already sent an email authorizing Transfer.
The file (TransferInsider.pdf) spells out the transfer procedure in detail.
I have a meeting with my lawyer on Tuesday. If this is not resolved by that
time we will take the appropriate action againt ALL appropriate parties.

there is nothing further we can do to transfer your domain... You need to
work with your existing registrar to resolve this issue.
We will credit your account the 7.95 that the transfer costs.

I have paid twice for domain transfer, once in the intital package,
and again in November. so a refund of $7.95 is not acceptable. In addition,
Melbourneit and Register Free indicates that domain transfer has never been
intiated by you. Do you have written documentation that you intiated the
tranfer? If so please send to me in an email. Below is the responce received
from Register Free.

Dear [Customer],

Thank you for your email,

We can confirm that the domain name has not been flagged for transfer directly
at the registry. Melbourne IT has also not issued out the transfer notifications
to the listed registrant/admin contact on the record, as transfer request has not
been initiated on this name.

The gaining registrar will need to initiate a transfer request for
Melbourne IT/RegisterFREE to respond.

Do not hesitate to contact RegisterFREE should you require further information.

Kind Regards,

The RegisterFREE Team

Re: ***.com ID# ********

blazernetworks indicated that they initiated the transfer with melbourneit which
is listed on whois and has not received a response. by this email i am also
requesting that they channel the request through registerfree who apparantly
handles requests for melbourneit.

It is now obvious that the problem with the domain transfer is on your end.
We have purchased domain transfer from GoDaddy.com and it went through
with no problem. It's very poor customer service for you to keep blaming everyone
else and closing the trouble ticket without taking appropriate action, especially
since you collected money twice for services not received.

As of this date I have not received a refund for the initial domain tranfer that
was to be included in my April 2005 purchase nor the separate purchase in
November 2005. If these are not IMMEDIATELY credited to the account used in the
November purchase of 2005 we will have no choice but to file suit.

oh, a cut-and-paste flame from a 4 in 1 post wonder... wow

I have to admit... once I saw how much bloat was in this message.. and that this was the ONLY post by this new member... I decided to not read it until blue came in and asked those hard-hitting, unanswerable, "explain this or walk away a fraud" posts.

oh, and i drooled when i fell asleep during this message. now all my co-workers are pointing at me and laughing.

oh.. and if anyone wants to break all that down into a 2-3 sentence synopsis, I would really like to know what happened. thanks...

I've been vindicated (OUT OF BUSINESS):
Had the same problems listed in the following link: http://www.webhostingstuff.com/revie...erNetwork.html . Read the past six months and RUN the other direction at all costs. Summary of my problems with them. Live Chat doesn't work, they fail to respond to trouble tickets, they won't respond to e-mails, and if you try to call you will get a canned recording stating that all representatives are busy. If you leave a message you won't get a response. They don't know how to do a domain transfer. They blame problems on other people. They can't follow insturction when you even provide the detailed step by step procedures outlined by ICANN. Many customers have filed complaints. Looks like they have gone out of business and taken people's money. I suggest filing a Consumer complaint with your states Attorney General and also the state of Georgia, their main headquarters. Put a stop on any credit card and banking transactions involving Blazernetwork related to recurring fees and charges so that you don't get burned later. Contact Enom, Inc. Technical support at 425.274.4500 the Official Registrar. If all else fails, call an attorney!
