What hardware / datacenter do you use?
We're currently using server-grade Supermicro hardware along with the LATEST Sandy Bridge Xeon processors with ECC DDR3 RAM. We're also using RAID-10 hard drive arrays.
We colocate all of our equipment at a local (< 5 miles away!) Tier-III datacenter located in Ashburn, VA.
What operating systems can I install?
Your Bitcable VPS will come with a virtualized CD drive. We have a bunch of ISOs ready to be mounted, and we can add additional ISOs easily. Either install an OS yourself using VNC, or we'll gladly do it for you. Here's what we ship with:
