What hardware / datacenter do you use?
We're currently using server-grade Supermicro hardware along with the LATEST Sandy Bridge Xeon processors with ECC DDR3 RAM. We're also using RAID-10 hard drive arrays.
We colocate all of our core equipment at the Tier 3+ Latisys data center in Ashburn VA (east coast). Again, we own all of our hardware and have our own private locking cabinet.
What operating systems can I install?
Your Bitcable VPS will come with a virtualized CD drive. We have a bunch of ISOs ready to be mounted, and we can add additional ISOs easily. Either install an OS yourself using VNC, or we'll gladly do it for you.
