Beer permitted only during lunch, unless you drive a truck!

I saw this story earlier and it reminded me of Anheuser Busch here years ago. Gotta have beer!

If they are drinking on the job, how do they get any work done? And how do they get any work done properly, without mistakes?

Most guys can barely make sure they get their pee in the toilet when drinking, let alone perform tasks without error. :D

I know a lot of the resturants etc are like that when it comes to food too, but just thought it was interesting that they went on strike for it. I know Sam Adams has a similar policy.

As for getting work done, there's a difference between drinking and drunk. Drunk on the job is not allowed. 3 beers a day - not a problem - even 12 over an 8 hour period, no problem for most people. 12 in a 1 hour period, that's a problem.

Besides, I'm sure after a while it's like working in a chocolate factory, after a few weeks you can't stand the smell of chocolate :)

Really interesting, Seems that you could get a little tipsy and do your work more better.

I wonder how that would be, Get a little drunk and try putting a computer or server together and then typing up some Linux commands. :)
