I have been playing around with Google, what hoster doesn't? And just checked out a ton of places that have been getting recondition for the work they do, which is awesome of course.

Anyone here every hosted with FindMyHost? Seems they came away with the Editors' Choice Award for their dedi's.

I found their site last week. Didn't know they existed till then. Also, I noticed that award as well.

I have known of FindMyHost for quite some time, although I have never used it myself, a few business associates of mine have told me that it's excellent, and they are pretty picky when it comes to web hosts in general.

I've never heard of them-so besides the award what makes them stand out for you? Why is it that they are any better or any different than any other service you've looked at?

Findmyhost has been around for quite some time. We were listed with them years ago, but I never thought of them as a HOSTING COMPANY. Everything that I've ever dealt with them on has been a directory of sorts of other hosting companies. They also ran a program in years past for reviews.

I haven't found them being a hosting company though - just a listing of hosting companies. Seems they've created "web host report card" also as a way to review/rate hosts.

handsonhosting is right. Findmyhost has always been a hosting reviews site, not a web hosting provider.

I guess the article I ran across then was wrong, it listed them as a hosting provider. If I can find the site again I will try and contact them then, I wasn't sure, was all brand new to me. I guess I am behind in times again(must be that getting older stuff).
