Army Fights in Pink Boxers!

Yeah, it's amazing how much of a big deal this one is being made into :) When the call comes out, it doesn't matter what you're doing, you run, grab your gear and join forces. This guy just happened to be sleeping in one of his "comforts from home".

Good on him and everyone else who has taken a stand over the years.

It is odd that this happened in early May, but it wasn't until the middle of this month when there was a slow news day that they finally broke the story beyond the routers publication.
 
Maybe the army held the story? I don't know what the reason is but it is good to see when it comes down to it that soldier did what was needed of him and ran out there to help his fellow soldiers.

I bet if he was taking a shower he wouldve done the same thing lol He probably wouldve been all soapy and went out there with nothing but a gun, and vest :P Now that wouldve put some fear into the enemy lol
 
That soldier was worried he was gunna get fired becuase of that. He is not gunna get fired, but if the US did fire him over that...Then that would just look bad on the US. I mean, you have a soldier who got up, put his vest on, grabed his gun and started helping his fellow soldiers defend that post. Now, a soldier doing what he has to do in a fire fight no matter what he is wearing is a true soldier.
