Are you targetted?

This can be for those just with hosting accounts or for those providers out there. Are you targeted either for your company (lets face it, some companies out there suck and script kiddies will flock to you), your client (high risk maybe?) or yourself?

I have managed to be targeted twice, once for being myself (must have upset someone telling them that dal net sucks and they need to grow up) and once from a client of mine (quite high risk).

I think you mean like targetted from people like selling your info. Or I could be wrong. What exactly do you mean targetted? If it was a client of yours, what you do to tick him off??? :)

I think she means targetted for attacks.

I get the routine dictionary-hack attempts that every other web host does. I have a few clients who aren't the best about overall account security, and the support team keeps having to clean off their accounts and change the passwords every six or seven months when someone breaks in and frantically tries to set up a phishing site. But neither the company nor any of the clients have been targeted for DDoS attacks or other suchwhich.

We've handled clients who've been Slashdotted, so we could handle the higher load. We just don't get it too often - either because of Slashdot/Fark or malicious script kiddies.
