Anyone offer free hosting?

I am thinking of offering a small free package with adverts on and no hotlinking.

Do you think it is worth it in the long run?

Yes, but we usually call it sponsored hosting. We setup the preson with so much space and bandwidth require them to put a hosted by type of link or image. Then we set them up as an affiliate and just give them lower then normal commission.
