I noticed that quite a lot of people are selling their gmail invites on google. Just wondering if this is actually legal?

They've changed their TOS in the wake of the ebay auctions, forbidding such activities.

I just sent a few emails to friends and I'm very pleased by the interface and how userfriendly it all is.

How usual is it to get an invite which one can give away?
