Any Mac users here?

Can't really comment as i hav'nt used them, but i love the look of them - as with most products from Apple these days - very Stylish!! (I assume you are talking about the OSX 1U Server)

*heh* I was actually refering to home use. Considering other responses I got at WebHostCafe.net (SHAMELESS PLUG), I'm thinking of just sticking with windows or something. I saw this killer laptop in an ad in PCWorld.

Personally i cant stand Mac's. Mac os is rubbish, and macs are slow for what they cost. On the other hand the new i-macs certainly look great, and perfom great too. Maybe Apple, are moving up in the world. But if it wqas my cash, i'd go with a dell notebook, or even better a sony vaio!

No, I'm not a Mac user.

I don't see a point in Macs, although that is my personal view only. Also, if you like the Mac OS - why not use Linux? Many people do not realise how much Mac OS and Linux look a like. I mean, take Mandrake Linux with KDE. If you want to switch to a Mac simple because of the OS, don't bother - get Linux and dual boot it.
If you want to switch to a Mac because you want to become an Apple fanatic, then don't bother either. What's the point? Apple are very expensive for what they offer, which I'm afraid isn't much.

Many magazines class Apple as all talk, and no do. Now, no one flame me on this as I can imagine a few people wanting to, however I read this in quite a few magazines when Apple released their new G5. But of course, it's your choice whether you believe a magazine or not.
However, personally, I'd never use an Apple computer. All my friends who wanted one but didn't want a Windows. I told them to go to Medion, purchase a LT8080 and go out and buy Mandrake Linux PowerPack 9.2 and install Linux over Mandrake. They were very pleased that I told them and now all whom I've told this to are using Linux for their home use and business use, they find it cheaper, and they find it a lot more efficient than Windows. However they aren't using it for playing video games on, so if you want it for work and so on - then Linux is certainly a brilliant choice over Windows and over Apple I think.

Just my $0.02 :)
