Do we have any users of http://www.LinkedIn.com here?

I started using the service last year and it has been incredible so far. I have in fact met a couple of people through the system to do business with.

If you do have a LinkedIn account, assuming your profile describes your work history in detail to facilitate an understanding of who you are and your value by the target recipient, I would gladly invite you to join my network of partners, associates and acquaintances. My professor of entrepreneurship has introduced me to the system, and by far it has been no match by cost and value to any other networking service I've used (both online and offline).

Active, no. User (as in having an account), yes. Actually, I think you were the one who referred me to it. I never did anything past joining it though. :(
 
I'm with Dan. I joined, and I add people who send me an invite, but beyond that, I'm not entirely sure how you would go about developing new contacts within the system.

To me this is just another Friendster. If you are active in it, you might gain something but mostly people will register and then forget.
 
I've heard about LinkedIn never used it apparantly it's rather good however I prefer Friendster meet some great people on their but you can meet some extremly strange people too :).
