Another hosting company gets ripped for its layout!

Yes, extremely aggravating! I mean it is one thing that many just use the same template without modifying it at all but that's obviously not stealing to do so. To just rip off the exact custom design is an outrage. I think people should google some of the chunks of text on their site from time to time to make sure their content isn't being copied verbatim too.

I would be mad, but I would be glad to see my sites good enough to rip from at the same time.
Didn't think of it that way! Well I guess they do say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Would still burn me mad.

But they have the Hosting Assured seal :) And when you go there and look at the uptime stats you see April is a little funky with an uptime of 29.352%. Didn't bother to check their SLA. Maybe it is 25% uptime guarantee!

Ooo yeah, that's interesting frattay22. I tried the Wayback Machine and didn't have any luck. All I could get there was that the earliest it had crawled xeocomm was September 2004 and it went back earlier for avixion.net. Avixion had this design as it is today on their earliest entry some time in June, 2004. However, not enough historical data to come to a conclusive result :(

There is not enough historical data to see who really had it first. That's what I got from my short investigation, at least.

I don't know if you guys noticed that http://www.xeocomm.com/ has a link on the bottom of it's menu Designed by CodeMySite?

So maybe that might help in the detective work. This is kind of like a "where is Carmen San Diego" epsiode. All we need is the A-Capella guys singing "codemysite..." etc. I don't know if anyone remembers that show.

Anyhow, interesting. Now there's the possibility that CodeMySite did the site for two different people.

My guess is Colonel Mustard did it in the Library with the Rope.
