Almost back to school time

How many of you have children who are getting ready to go back to school in the next couple of weeks?

My grandchildren start in two weeks and are really excited - and that's a good thing. I never wanted summer vacation to end.

Both of my kids started school back this week already. They had a great summer time.

in the UK we still have 2 and half weeks left before kids go back to school.

Geez, we never went back to school under after Labor Day. Whazzup with going back in August? It's like they want our kids to get smart or something.

i also think they get more holidays that i did when i was a school.

summer holidays when i was at school, was 5 weeks then it changed to 6 weeks, now its 6 and a half weeks as kids go back, tue and some wed as teachers have to have what they call teachers training days (god if teachers arent trained pity help the kids). they have 6 weeks to have thier so called training day, so what have it on the mon after the holidays.

They certainly do get a lot of days off, but I wouldn't want their job - just their vacations
