Affliliate script

I have pondered the idea of starting an affiliate system on my website. Does anyone know of a good affiliation script out there? I have never looked at them so I am looking for some ideas.

There are many available.

However, I've always found that the best route to take, if you have the ability to do so, is make your own, or have your own created.

It gives you more freedom over your features, etc.

An affiliate system is a definate must. Why would not want to offer some sort of referral/affiliate system. There are some really goods ones out there. I am very pleased with the one we use.
