Advertising..

I have two websites, both have a bit of traffic, can't get into the webalizer stats at the moment, but I am sure there is a couple thousand hits daily on the sites each..

I was wonder, do you think people would be interested in buying advertising space on these sites.. one is a webiste of pictures with local friends and such, I've sold webspace to a few of them already actually.. the other is my T2 Records site, which is about music and stuff..

Yes you can probably find someone to advertise. The record site might be easier since the target audience is broader.

You will probably have to offer special rates at first. You could even auctioning ads off at eBay.
 
Yeah well it would only be cheap, something maybe like $2.50 a week or somehting, I don't want to make money off it, just to help pay for my hosting..

I don't think that is too much to ask for the advertising?
 
Put a advertisement section up on your site and see if it takes any bites. The music site will probally get more. Maybe visit a music forum and post something so you get "targeted" advertisers that want to advertise there music site on your music site.
 
Not sure but google is your friend :) I don't have a big interest in music just like to listen to good sound tracks.
