So you are relaxing at a crowded bar when suddenly a catchy new song starts playing on the radio.

"What's that called?" you ask.
"'Soul Meets Body,' by Death Cab for Cutie," says the bartender.

You could try to commit that to memory. Maybe scrawl it on a napkin. But what if you could simply buy the song instantly?
Another feature I like is ability to beam tunes to other MP3 player users, doesn't matter if you are in a hot-spot zone.

Could be a very interesting competitor to iPod, but something tells me Steve Jobs has got it covered. Nevertheless, quite a challenge for a company the mission of which this year is to continue pushing for customers' wallets.

Best,

From what I hear, the latest iPod video is NOT the true 5th gen (or whatever generation they're on). It's just a regular iPod that has video codecs or something. Anyways, from what I was reading about the mockup, the next iPod will have a larger screen because there will be no more standard "click wheel". They're moving that to the new display, a touch display that will bring up a "click wheel" when you touch the screen...you scroll around then when you release your finger from the screen the "click wheel" disappears.

However, it was also rumored that it won't have any sort of wireless connectivity. Perhaps that will change before release if Jobs wises up ;)
