I just have a thing that I hate seeing domain names for things with crazy numbers in them. These I mean of numbers that have nothing to do with the website or the name of the company. What is with that?

Often they do have something to do with the site.
I know of many businesses that use a street address or a regional code or even an airport code in their name. That would also be used in an internet address.

I neither understand nor like them. To me, because of the sites that I have seen use this, they are the signiture of a spam or scam site of some kind. Thats what they have all been associated with that I've seen, so it's now become a bit of a red flag.

Well,its a personal choice,maby It's their lucky number:agree:
Or Its just related to the website and people just dont notice It how.

Dude, if you are going to spam at least put it in a post that might have something to do with what you're talking about.

As to the OP, I have to admit that I don't take sites with numbers like you mention as seriously because it looks spammy to me too. Too many times, that is exactly what it is.

I could understand fully if the number did relate to the business somehow, but I would rather know that upfront that worry it is a spammer, MLM, blah type of site.

Whenever I see numbers mixed in the domain, I instantly think spam - unless it somehow makes sense with the theme of the site.
