Well we have made it to the 5000 post milestone, keep it up. See if we cant reach 10,000 by hmm.. let's say February?
 
We better have 10,000 posts by then. You know why?? Its my birthday that month so all of you should be asking me what I want/would like to do for my bithday!

J/K but it is my Birthday. Feb 15th baby

I think by February Gordy/John will make up half of the 10,000 posts.

Glad we have reached this milestone :)
More and more people arecoming back everyday but most dont post, we have some lurkers on our hands :lurker:
Come on guys, get involved in the convos ;)
I dont care about the number of posts to be honest, would rather they were all helpful, informative and just good convos rather than posts to boost post counts ;)

BTW, my birthday is Jan 2nd
Not dropping any hints or anything though

When the forum started out I thought that me and Gordy would end up having 75% of posts between us but its starting to spread out now with more new members posting and the regulars coming back :)
 
I personally don't like WHT because there alot of.. lets just say 'not nice' people there and they tend to look down on some people for no real reason.. if they are not as knowledged as them for example..
 
Also just because we want to beat WHT does not mean we hate them. I don't hate them but I don't like them either. They were not very friendly when I asked for advice and so on.
 
No WHT slamming please ;)
I dont think the forum will ever be as big as WHT, not unless its advertised a lot more and right now, I dont have the budget.
I have been keeping money aside though for a few things which Im not going to touch for anything else.
90% of the money from advertising is being kept aside for a few things I will be doing for the forum, the other 10% is used for a few things I have had to do when needed
 
Well about WHT, think about it.. they have thousands of members so they don't really have the time to actually get to know each member like we do, if we were that big we would probably be very similar so it is nothing really personal agains them.
 
So 5000 was hit a while back... when will 20000 be hit :) Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I stumbled across it and it got me thinking what was the next mile stone.
