Yahoo announced Tuesday, October 21, that it plans to cut at least 10 percent of its workforce, or more than 1,500 employees, in the fourth quarter in an effort reduce costs. The company’s sales for the third quarter were roughly in line with Wall Street’s estimates, however profits were down 64 percent compared to same period last year.
