Windows 11 update trips up Azure Virtual Desktop apps

Microsoft’s Windows 11 24H2 update has entered full availability, but AVD users are running into a snag. A bug tied to the “App attach” feature fails to launch containerized apps using CimFS images, returning an “Element not found” error. Microsoft recommends switching to VHDX images for now, with a fix not expected until June 2025.
