US, Japan, and Europe government agencies have agreed on a single metric system (Power Usage Effectiveness) which is to be used to measure data center’s energy efficiency. Companies around the world can use the guidelines that the agreement provided to measure how efficient their data centers are. The agencies agreed that a single metric system is most likely more accurate with alternative metrics in place as well.
