Deutsche Telekom has announced its plans to acquire a European-based web hosting provider Strato for a total of $409 million. Strato has customers in six European countries and it is one of the largest web hosting companies in the continent. The current owner of Strato is Freenet and it has been looking for potential buyers since June this year.
