Smoke incident injures two at Amazon’s $11B Indiana data center build

Paramedics hospitalized two construction workers after smoke filled part of Amazon’s under-construction data center in New Carlisle, Indiana. Emergency crews responded Thursday morning to reports of injuries and heavy smoke in Building 104. Officials evacuated the site, although they found no active fire. The $11 billion AWS facility, still years from completion, remains under investigation for the cause of the incident.
