Hackers target Oracle, steal patient data in ransom scheme

Hackers breached Oracle’s systems, stole sensitive patient records, and attempted to extort U.S. medical providers. Oracle discovered the breach in February and is helping healthcare clients identify affected patients. The FBI has launched an investigation as security concerns grow over Oracle’s handling of sensitive medical data.
