Google Cloud’s Frankfurt region restored after 12-Hour outage due to power failure

Google Cloud’s europe-west3 region in Frankfurt experienced a 12-hour outage starting early Thursday due to power and cooling issues, disrupting virtual machines and disks for customers. Google has since fully restored services, attributing the problem to a partial zone power-down. A full incident report is forthcoming, as the company continues to work on resilience measures across its cloud infrastructure.
