Google Cloud has launched G4 virtual machines powered by Nvidia’s RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, making it the first provider to offer this chip in the cloud. Designed for AI inference, simulation, and high-fidelity rendering, the G4 VMs target performance-intensive workloads with a flexible architecture. Currently in preview, these machines highlight Google’s bid to unify compute, memory, and storage under its AI-centric “hypercomputer” strategy.
