DreamHost has introduced a major expansion to its managed WordPress lineup, giving long time users and agencies something many have been asking for over the years. The company has rolled out new multi site DreamPress plans that let customers run as many as 20 WordPress installations under a single hosting package. It marks a noticeable shift from DreamPress’ previous one site per plan model and reflects the growing pressure on hosting providers to simplify how digital teams manage large webs of client projects.
What stands out in this update is not only the added capacity but the tone of practicality behind it. DreamHost framed the move as a direct response to the customers who keep their feedback channels active.
According to the company, many agencies and freelancers have been wrestling with fragmented hosting footprints, juggling multiple dashboards or paying for separate plans that complicate day to day work. The new DreamPress lineup, now spanning six different plan options, aims to give those users more breathing room without introducing extra layers of complexity.
John Robison, DreamHost’s Director of Product, shared that the request for bundled WordPress hosting has been one of the most consistent themes across customer conversations. His comments reflected a realistic understanding of how agencies operate, especially those who onboard new clients frequently and need a predictable foundation for hosting growth. The update attempts to strike that balance by letting customers scale at their own pace while keeping familiar DreamPress tools intact.
The expanded tiers include features customers already rely on, such as DreamHost’s traffic dashboard, resource visibility, and AI assisted log insights. Users also retain access to Liftoff, the company’s AI guided creator tool designed to speed up WordPress site launches. The underlying platform remains engineered for steady performance across a wide network, something longtime DreamPress users often point to as a core part of its value.
As more digital agencies consolidate their workflows and look for budget conscious hosting structures, DreamHost’s move reflects a quieter but ongoing shift in managed WordPress services. The updated plans are live now for new and existing users, marking one of the most significant changes to DreamPress in years.
